What is a PHA?
Poly hydroxy acids are made up of larger molecules than AHA's and BHA's, this means that they only exfoliate the surface of the skin rather than penetrating into the deeper layers. Because of the larger sized molecule its less likely to cause irritation which makes it suitable for even sensitve skin types!
